About Armscor
Armscor traces its roots back to 1905, when Squires, Bingham & Co. was established in the Philippines.
Initially a general store trading firearms, ammunition, and other goods, the company evolved over the decades.
In 1941, visionary entrepreneur Don Celso Tuason purchased the company, and by 1952, he secured the first license to manufacture firearms in post-war Philippines.
Renamed Squires Bingham Manufacturing Inc., the company became a key player in rebuilding the nation’s firearms industry.
In 1980, the company was reorganized as the Arms Corporation of the Philippines, known today as Armscor.
This marked a new era, with a focus on producing high-quality firearms and ammunition at affordable prices.
Armscor expanded into the United States in 1985, establishing an office in Nevada and acquiring the Rock Island Armory brand, which quickly became a leader in M1911 pistols.
Under the leadership of the Tuason family, now in its third generation with Martin Tuason as president, Armscor continues to grow, exporting to over 50 countries.
With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in both the Philippines and the U.S., Armscor is known for its reliable, affordable firearms and ammunition.
Today, Rock Island Armory is the exclusive firearms manufacturer within the Armscor family, while Armscor focuses on ammunition production.
