About Diamondback Firearms
Diamondback Firearms began its journey in 1989, initially as a small custom airboat manufacturer in a shop that soon garnered a solid reputation for quality. As the company expanded, it acquired advanced manufacturing equipment, including CNC milling machines, allowing for the in-house creation of custom parts. This capability marked a pivotal shift in 2009 when Diamondback started providing machined parts to partnering distributors, eventually leading to the manufacture of their own firearms.
Located on the Space Coast of Florida, Diamondback Firearms introduced its first product, the DB380, in 2009. Noted for being one of the most compact .380s on the market and offering exceptional value, the DB380 quickly established Diamondback's presence in the firearms industry. Since then, the company has grown into a family of six companies—DB Firearms, DB CNC, DB Industrial Finishes, DB Barrels, DB Airboats, and Southern Grind—employing over 250 dedicated workers.
Diamondback is a family-owned and operated company that prides itself on a tight-knit, hardworking culture and a commitment to keeping production domestic. By manufacturing all parts in-house and sourcing materials from within the USA, Diamondback ensures high-quality control, supports local communities, and maintains a strong domestic supply chain.
The company's mission is to create innovative, quality products built by American hands. Diamondback offers a range of firearms that are affordable, reliable, and endorsed by everyday shooters, battle-tested operators, and trusted law enforcement personnel. Diamondback stands firmly behind the quality of its products, embodying a commitment to accessibility and reliability—the Diamondback way.
